Work began on revisions to “The Essential Guide for Renal Dietitians” in June of 2016. Since that time, a group of 37 Renal Dietitians collaborated to create this valuable reference guide to support dietitians who work with people who have chronic kidney disease. The Essential Guide has grown from 209 to 318 pages and includes the latest renal, diabetic, and cardiac nutrition guidelines with updates to every section. In addition, five new sections are included to cover self management support, the nutrition care process, pregnancy, the vegetarian diet and hepatorenal syndrome. This is the digital PDF version.
